Points of Contact

Importance of the institutional points of contact

To effectively manage a statewide transfer program, consistent communication across all public two-year and four-year institutions in Alabama is essential. This is made possible through designated contact administrators and faculty members at each institution. To support this effort, the AGSC has established institutional Points of Contact (POCs). These individuals—selected by their institution’s president or chancellor—are responsible for maintaining and supporting the AGSC & Alabama Transfers program on their respective campuses.

The success and overall impact of the program are closely tied to the ongoing work and dedication of this group. The AGSC and Alabama Transfers staff deeply appreciate the valuable service these POCs provide to both their students and the state. They truly serve as the "glue" that holds the AGSC & Alabama Transfers program together.

Below, you’ll find a full listing of the POCs along with their roles and responsibilities. Please use the links above to explore the various POC groups.

Appointment of institutional points of contact

At each public two-year and four-year institution in Alabama, the president appoints one individual to serve as the primary AGSC Institutional Point of Contact, along with or two alternates to serve in their absence. Both individuals receive official communications from the AGSC & Alabama Transfers office.
